Uh oh! What Day Is It?!

A special THANK YOU to AEEC's fabulous PTO for a successful "Try"athlon Fundraiser!
As an incentive for meeting the fundraiser goal of $20,000, Principal Johnson & Assistant Principal Folmar promised to "Kiss A Camel" and Wear Crazy to Family Fun Night.  The kindergarten children enjoyed their Trike Ride; 1st Graders enjoyed their Swim Meet; and 2nd graders enjoyed their Obstacle Course Run!  The Fundraiser Goal was exceeded & promises kept!

Johnny Appleseed !

2nd graders perform a skit about the life of Johnny Appleseed for a great audience of kindergarten students.  A special thank you to Mrs. Judy Boone and her 2nd graders!

AEEC students enjoy stations during PE time!

Students rotate through physical fitness stations such as Dance Dance Revolution, Xertrainer Wall, balance beam, tricycles, etc.

Our 2nd graders enjoyed using i-Pads for a QR code scavenger hunt in the media center.
Not only did they learn how to scan QR (quick response) codes to gain information, they also learned 10 important facts about the media center.  Example of media center fact questions:  Where is the fiction section located?  How many books are in AEEC's collection?
